The “Divisione di Chimica degli Alimenti” of the Società Chimica Italiana (Italian Chemical Society)
grants 2 fellowships for the participation to ASFC2026. Fellowships, covering the “full optional”
registration fee are reserved to 3 rd year PhD student (presenting their research project as oral
communication) members of the Divisione di Chimica degli Alimenti with no permanent position at
their institution.
ItaChemFood grants 2 fellowships for the participation to ASFC2026. Fellowships, covering the
“regular” registration fee are reserved to young members of the Divisione di Chimica degli Alimenti
or ItaChemFood with no permanent position at their institution
ASFC grants 1 fellowship which will be assigned at the end of the School, covering “regular”
registration fee for the ASFC2027.
The Autumn School in Food Chemistry is the First Italian School in Food Chemistry. It welcomes PhD students, post-DOC fellows or pre-DOC fellows, and recent graduates operating in the Food Chemistry area.
The School will be a great opportunity for young people to meet other researchers and to have a theoric training.
They will also have the opportunity to present their own research projects to other in peer to peer mode.
Starting with this first edition, we intended to offer a new event, with the sponsorship of SCI and ITACHEMFOOD, focusing on the food science area.
Young food chemists, food technologists, nutritionists, toxicologists, and food engineers also from industry, are warmly invited to participate.
The activities cover lectures, discussion with the invited speakers, and PhD students’ presentation (3rd year).
For the other participants a time for short presentation adn for poster will be reserved.
The official language of the School will be English. No translation will be provided.
